This is a list of notable Rosenwald Schools. There were 5,000 or so Rosenwald Schools in the United States. These primarily served black Americans. A number of these schools are listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Two-story, three-teacher, Sharptown Colored (Elementary) School. 1919-1957. Sold to community of San Domingo for $10.00.
